Ride the Valleys

We will start along the cycle track past Pontardawe and then turning towards Brynamman, along the valley and then follow the Amman Valley cycle way through the valley until we reach Ammanford. From there we will follow a country lane along the side of the mountain to Pontarddulais. We will then head towards Grovesend and join the cycle track to Gorseinnon then joining another cycle track to Gowerton and then the Clyne cycle track to Blackpill. We will return via the cycle tracks along Swansea Bay and along the river back to Ynsystawe.
the route is fairly flat or undulating there with some easier hills.

This is a straightforward ride for anyone wanting to try a longer route

A picturesque route with lots of views and varying scenery. Mostly on off road tarmac cycle trails and quieter lanes. Although much of it goes through valleys there is some climbing so it is only suitable for experienced cyclists.

We will stop once or twice for refreshments, so please bring money to purchase a drink and snack.

You will need to wear a helmet and bring water please bring money/payment card for refreshments you may need a bike lock if we go inside a cafe and may need a face covering

First timers to Breeze welcome as long as you are confident you can ride this far!
