Ride the Salty Rails

Come and try this route through the old salty rails through the heart of some of Cheshire's finest countryside. The route is suitable for all types of bikes and trailers and offers a fantastic ride for all abilities.  You'll pull out of Whitegate Station and head North West towards Delamere Forest with opportunities to stop and take on water for your boilers while taking in beautiful lakes and woodland.  You then turn and gather a full head of steam as you head towards your next destination which is the only working Rock Salt mine in the UK. Your final destination is back at Whitegate Station where all passengers can dis-embark from this thoroughly enjoyable journey back in time.  All aboard!
