Starting from Whitehaven Harbour we will take the cycle route north. Briefly we shall travel on the road through stainburn but then we turn back into Workington once again on the cycle path and finally return to Whitehaven.
Mostly traffic free, just the bit around Stainburn that is on the road. A decent run out with no significant hills, just a couple of undulations. :)
Bring a spare inner tube that will fit your bike, just in case. And keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly. You will also need to wear a properly fitting cycle helmet for this ride, and if you want to have a coffee and cake stop then bring some pennies. The opportunity for this is at the end of the ride.
