Come and join us on this lovely circular countryside route taking in the beautiful scenery from Redbridge to Ongar via Lambourne End, Stapleford Tawney, Stondon Massey. Starting at the brilliant Redbridge Cycling Centre facility the route is very picturesque being ridden mostly on quiet roads with plenty of lumps and bumps to get the legs working. There are plenty of great places to stop and admire the views as well as excellent cafés in the village of Ongar.
This ride used to be called the Blackmore Burner, but it has been brought up to date with the stop now at Ongar
Please bring;
1. A lock for your bike,
2. Some money or a card & a mask with you if you wish to purchase refreshments at the stop,
3. A road worthy bike,
4. A spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers
5. A cycle helmet,
6. Comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather,
7. A drink & snack for along the way if needed.
We will ride taking social distancing into account. At the time of writing British Cycling recommend riding at least 1m apart
