We will ride north through Abbey Park along Route 6 to Watermead Country Park. The ride will stop along the way to discuss points of interest such as the woolly mammoth sculpture and the statue in King Lear's Lake. We will also point out gateways to other cycle routes such as route 48 to Hickling. The ride will return to the city centre along the canal towpath.
Toilets and refreshments are available at Watermead North car park.
Children under the age of 16 must be wearing a helmet and be accompanied by an adult.
