Ride Leicester Parks Ride - North

On this ride we will visit some of Leicester's well known and also lesser known parks on the North side of the City, looking at the history and origination of each and pointing out any areas of specific interest. Learn how and why each park was created and how their use has evolved over time.

The route will take in nine of Leicester's parks including Abbey Park, Watermead, Sparrow Park and others.

All parks visited will be within the city boundary and we will be using traffic free cycleways as much as possible, however, due to the geography, some roads will inevitably be used.

Children under the age of 16 must be wearing a helmet and be accompanied by an adult.

Bring water and a spare innertube.
