The 1645 Siege of Leicester is brought to life by Hidden Histories Jim Butler. Learn about the brutal sack of Leicester and how it became one of the turning points in the Civil War.
The ride will visit significant sites across the City bringing to life the story of Leicester during this turbulent period.
Children under the age of 16 must be wearing a helmet and be accompanied by an adult.
First-timers welcome!
Leicester City Council and New Local are working together to better understand the places, groups and experiences that are important to help inform services that the Council offers. A representative from New Local will be joining this ride and speaking to any willing participants who would like to share what is important to them in Leicester. New Local is a national, not-for-profit organisation on a mission to transform public services and unlock community power www.newlocal.org.uk
