About the route
A nice steady ride on a flat and predominately cycle path route. Spot the seals and wildlife as you cycle along the side of the River Tees before riding through the Industrial heartlands of Teesside. A quick dash through Port Clarence takes you onto the gravel track and through the fantastic nature reserve that is the RSPB Saltholme.
After locking and securing the bikes a dash to the cafe is on offer before we retrace our tracks back to the Barrage.
