Ride in Yellow for Wigan and Leigh Hospice

Did you know that there are currently four male cyclists for every female cyclist commuting to work in the UK, despite an increase in the overall number of people getting on their bike on a regular basis? In March 2016 Transport for Greater Manchester will be running Women on Wheels (WoW), a programme of events and activities to get more women – from beginners to regular cyclists – on two wheels. Our Breeze ride to support this initiative will start at Pennington Park and join a Charity Ride from Wigan and Leigh Hospice in Hindley organised by Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust. The ride is approximately 10 miles and a buffet will be provided at the Hospice after the ride. Cyclists are encouraged to wear yellow.
