This route, which starts at the English Institute of Sport (a training venue that is the home of many elite athletes) has a fairly undulating route in parts.

After navigating the early main thoroughfares, the route continues east towards Ulley Country Park, meandering through the country lanes that skirt Roche Abbey.

On the return, the route makes its way through the suburbs of Maltby and more country lanes, before finishing back at The Sheffield Institute of Sport.
