Ride from Brantingham to a concert in Howden

The concert on 15 August is given by Benjamin Frith, an excellent pianist. It looks an attractive programme, too. I'm thinking of stopping at Blacktoft for DIY coffee and having a picnic lunch in the park. But this, and the start time of the ride, could alter depending on the weather and on what people coming would like to do.

It'd be good if you can check your bike before coming and bring:
- comfy clothes (layers are good for flexibility) including gloves and a waterproof if rain looks possible
- your helmet
- pump, inner tube and crossed fingers that they won't be needed!
- drink and snack (it's a good idea to refuel if the refreshment stop is near the end of the ride)
- money for refreshments
-bike lock
- lights are good, particularly in dull weather
