The return of our most popular ride from last year!

A one-off special ride to the seaside! Our summer challenge ride goes further than ever before with a trip to the beach at Redcar! The route has been adjusted to come just under the 50 mile limit for Guided Rides. Starting from the Beefeater Pub at Morton Park, we ride out of Darlington via Middleton St George, through Yarm, then through the south and east of Middlesbrough before arriving at Redcar for our stopover point. The return route brings us back through the north of Middlesbrough, along the riverside and joining up with Stockton, then through Elton, Long Newton and Middleton St George before we return to the Beefeater.

This is a long ride, you should allow all day to complete this – we estimate being back around tea time. Remember to bring along plenty of drinks and some sun protection. We will stopover in Redcar for around an hour, we recommend getting something to eat here. Prepare for the ride properly and you’ll have a great day!
