Ride 45 Training Ride

This ride is all on roads , taking in quite a bit of climbing at the beginning , leaving rainford , climbing up through billinge before heading towards orrell , and then over shaley brow (the easier way ) before cutting through kings moss to tower hill , and over ashurst beacon from roby mill through to bispham green , then heading out around burscough , Kirkby , and simonswood before returning to rainford . A nice 45 mile ride with some hills , this is one of the more challenging rides we do on The FCs Saturday Club , suitable for road bikes , cx , hybrids , and for the braver mtbs !
