Whalley town centre opposite the Swan

Today we meet at the roundabout in the centre of Whalley before we head out on what is possibly one of the finest sorties in to the Yorkshire Dales National Park we put on sky ride. We head out to Sawley and Bolton-by-Bowland before riding through Clapham to Ingleton and a lunch stop, but be warned immediately after leaving Ingleton we have our day's toughest climb. The good news is this climb takes us onto a one of the quietest roads I could take you down. Returning via Horton in Ribblesdale, Settle, Grindleton and Bashall to Whalley. It's not a route for the fainthearted but it is a route that have you constantly in awe of the exceptional beauty of the Yorkshire Dales with a little taster of the Forest of Bowland to finish with. Rides don't get much better
