The 'Ribble View Roller' is an invigorating introduction to the wonderful Ribble Valley and the surrounding fells and moors. The 18 mile 'Roller' has many stopping points where you can stretch your legs and appreciate the views. These include Ribchester Bridge, Hurst Green, Mitton Green and the lovely village of Whalley. Perhaps the very best view comes towards the end of the route. With views of Birkett and the imposing Beatrix Fell, you can enjoy beautiful scenes of the appropriately named Painter Wood.
