Don't forget folks, you have to book on the official site http://www.ribblevalleyride.org/ Three great rides on Sunday 12 June 2015 Following successful events in 2014 and 2015, we are pleased to announce that the Ribble Valley Ride will run again in 2016, on Sunday 12 June. Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Accrington and Clitheroe, the ride will start and finish near Clitheroe. Last year, with the help of riders we managed to raise over £10,000 for our charities (Rosemere Cancer Foundation, CRY and Dan's Trust) and we hope we can repeat that stunning success in 2016. Our aim is to organise a well-run event which is as enjoyable as it is challenging. We’re delighted to announce sponsorship from Beacon Bikes of Whalley, Dare2B Clothing and Envair Clean Air Ltd, with more to come! Every year we listen to your feedback so we can make the next event even better than the last one. Once again, the 2016 Ribble Valley Ride will have: •Fantastic food at lots of feed stops (including a NEW one for the 25-miler!) •Electronic Chip Timing •FREE downloadable photographs for ALL entrants •Mechanics’ station at the start venue •and we hope much more! - See more at: https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?event_id=2524#sthash.IeoXwbhY.dpuf http://www.ribblevalleyride.org/ This is a charity ride by the Rotary Clubs of Accrington & Clitheroe, raising money for the Rosemere cancer foundation. As many of the Friendly Cyclists as possible will be taking part to raise money for this worthwhile cause. We will mainly be doing the 25 or the 60 mile route, but feel free if you want to do the 100 mile option. Once you've registered please book on here & let us know on the FaceBook page, so we know how many of us will be there on the day. And to the people who booked on here last year & complained that they had to also book on the RVR page & pay the fee - It's for charity!!!! Our group is called the FC's - Friendly Cyclists & you can read all about us & join the group here: https://www.goskyride.com/SCG/GroupDetails?GroupID=2197
