This ride for independent young riders and their adults, is led by Ribble Valley Juniors, a Go-Ride Club affiliated to British Cycling.
Riders need a roadworthy bike, a suitable helmet, a drink and clothing to suit the Lancashire summer. Ideally have an inner tube to suit your wheel size. And a SMILE!

South from our School Base on tree-lined Cycleway, downhill to cross a road and back on Cycleway to join the River Ribble Westwards, over the Tramway and continuing along the Ribble bank to cross another road to the final Cycleway to Hurst Grange Park our destination with Cafe,Toilets and a Play Park!
The return has the option of Avenham and Miller Parks and a short climb to gain the historical Tramway back North to base.
All Cycleway. All traffic free. All paved or bound surface. The route takes in three parks and includes both banks of the picturesque Preston River Ribble.
