Starting point

Lancashire
PR5 4TT

This is a largely traffic free and fun ride through wooded areas and cycleways alongside the picturesque River Ribble with a Park destination.
After a hundred meters or so on local quiet roads we access the cycleway network for the route via woodland to the Ribble. Crossing the Ribble at the A6 Bridge we head West through Avenham and Miller Parks alongside the river and to recross to Hurst Grange Park. After a break here ( bring a snack? ) our route is via yet more cycleways back to base. January sunshine and clear views are forecast.
You will need a helmet, a roadworthy bike, gloves and ideally a spare inner tube to match your wheel size.
