Return to Cycling (Ride 2) - Northampton Bike Park to Northampton White Water Centre Beginners Loop

This Return to Cycling ride is 90% traffic free cycle ways leaving Northampton Bike Park into Brackmills.
We will pick up defined (blue signed Cycleways) heading North we join Sustrans Cycle Route No6. to the Old Bedford Road towards the White Water Centre.

We continue to follow Cycle Route No6 along the River Nene towards Barnes Meadow, crossing over the Nene (Old River Course) we continue past the Boat Restaurant and Radlands Skate Plaza heading west towards Beckets Park.

At the junction of Beckets Park & Nun Mills Road we turn left on the road passing Avon and onto the University of Northampton.

Following University Drive we will dismount and pass through a A Frame Barrier before continuing along the traffic free route to the grounds of Delapre Abbey.
We will follow the defined path south with Delapre Lake in the distance to our left.

We rejoin the access road to Delapre Golf Course and Northampton Bike Park, following the car park for a last push under the A45 and back into the Skills Area of the bike park.
