Return to Blackpool

This is a flattish route for the first FC Sunday ride of the New Year Starting from Preston we will head along the River Ribble and cross the A583 via the bridge and continue along Savick Brook and around Ashton Golf Club before heading west to Blackpool via Wesham. Once in Blackpool we will join the Prom at Little Bispham and follow it to Lytham. We will stop at Whelan's one of our Favorite stops for some refreshment and food before heading back to Preston via Warton and Frecklton We'll all do the hills at our own pace, and reform at the top. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. This will be a lovely ride with something for everyone. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10-12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a really pleasant ride.
