Resolution Ride of the Cockermouth Camels

Start the year as you mean to go on, taking in the fresh air, stretching your legs, getting your heart pumping and enjoying the beautiful corner of England we call home. Welcome to the Cockermouth Camels Resolution Ride 2026.

Wiggling out of town and then exploring country roads around Lorton, this has quickly become a popular ride and if there is somewhere open in Cockermouth we can enjoy refreshments together at the end as well.

Go on, you know you want to.

Ride from Cockermouth out of town towards Lorton, ride around the roads and back in to town. A little undulating to get the heart pumping but nothing too drastic.

Country roads once out of the town

The ride will finish at Cumbrian Baker on Station St in Cockermouth for some yummy refreshments so bring your purse if you’d like to partake!

Please ensure you have a properly fitting helmet and a spare inner tube for your bike just in case!
