About the route
Starting point
The car park at the back of the Billesley Tennis Centre, next to Swanshurst School. Access is from Wheelers Lane. There is plenty of free parking.
It will be our last ride before Christmas, so let's make it special and Christmassy. Tinsel on your handlebars? A Santa hat on your helmet? A mince pie instead of cake? You choose! Other ideas also welcome.
We will be joined by another group of ladies from Shirley, then we will ride out along quiet roads and cycle paths towards the country lanes just south of Birmingham. Our coffee or lunch stop will hopefully be by a roaring fire.
We are a friendly group of women who just love riding our bikes and having a chat at the same time. If you want to know more, please text or ring. We ride at about 10-11mph, sometimes faster as we like to keep warm, too.
Please bring a drink, waterproofs, money and a spare inner tube. We hardly ever cancel for bad weather, but if it's frosty we might.
