There is parking available at the pavilion, and it provides a convenient starting point with easy access onto Milton Keynes’ traffic-free redway network. Please arrive a few minutes early so we have time to welcome everyone, check bikes and set off together. MK6 3EA

A gentle 8–10 mile ride exploring some of Milton Keynes' beautiful green spaces and traffic-free redways.
We’ll make our way around the picturesque Caldecotte Lake, following the River Ouzel and enjoying the peaceful surroundings, wildlife and open spaces along the route. This relaxed ride is a lovely way to discover some of Milton Keynes’ hidden gems while enjoying good company and a friendly, sociable pace.
With no roads to navigate, it’s a perfect route for those new to group riding, returning to cycling, or simply wanting to enjoy a leisurely ride in the fresh air.

The route is mostly flat, making it ideal for women who are new to group riding, returning to cycling, or simply looking for a relaxed and sociable ride. With plenty of greenery, good company and no pressure to ride fast, it's a great way to build confidence and enjoy cycling in a supportive environment.

The route is entirely on Milton Keynes' extensive redway network, so there are no roads to ride on. We'll follow traffic-free shared-use paths through parks, green spaces and around some of the city's lakes, making it a relaxed and enjoyable ride away from traffic.

We'll make occasional short stops during the ride for water breaks, and to enjoy some of the interesting artwork, lakes, and green spaces that Milton Keynes has to offer. These pauses provide an opportunity to catch your breath, take in the surroundings, and chat with fellow riders before continuing our journey.

Please bring a roadworthy bike, a correctly fitted helmet, and a drink to keep you hydrated during the ride. Depending on the weather, you may also wish to bring a light waterproof jacket, sunscreen, and a small snack.

You'll be very welcome! Come along, bring your bike, and enjoy a lovely morning exploring Milton Keynes on two wheels.
