Red, Amber, Green

This new ride will take us from the park to pick up the canal towpath initially and we will also use cycle paths and quiet estate roads along the way to Amberswood Common Hindley before picking up the canal towpath again into Wigan. The return journey to the park will be along the canal towpath. You will experience some stunning views along the way over various flashes. We always go to the pace of the slowest and are not too proud to push up any inclines if necessary. There will be plenty of rest stops and time to chat!! It's advisable to bring along a drink and a spare inner tube just in case (if you don’t have one don’t let this stop you from taking part). Also please wear a helmet and make sure you have suitable clothing. We will not have a café stop en route but will get together at our favourite café Pennington Tea Rooms in the park after the ride.
