Leaving Romsey Rapids we will head along the cycle path until we turn into Lee Lane. A short stretch along here will take us over the main road and onto Hoe Lane. From here we pedal to North Baddesley, down Pound Lane and finally to Ampfield Golf Club. We will relax with a well earned coffee and enjoy a chat together, hopefully sitting outside admiring the view over the Golf Course.
Our return ride is via Green Lane, Highwood Lane and back to The Rapids.

This is a fairly flat local ride designed for ladies who just want to go for a gentle bike ride but aren't sure where to go.

Where possible we will ride along cycle paths and quiet country lanes. There are some sections on busier roads but we will negotiate them safely together as a group.

Our main stop will be at Ampfield Golf Club for coffee and cake but we will stop for breathers along the way.

You will need a roadworthy bike and a helmet. Please bring tyre levers, spare inner tube and a pump in case of a puncture which we can help you repair. You should also bring cash/payment card for the coffee stop. Water You may want an extra layer to put on if we sit outside.

This ride is perfect for ladies who are less confident and who also want to meet up with other like minded ladies and enjoy some cycling now the weather is improving.
