BN3 7BF

Hove Park cafe BN3 7BF for 09:00 start and longer route Ditchling Village Hall BN6 8TT for 09:40 start and still long enough route

We have two pick up points, depending on whether you want to just ride the 100km that the Rapha Womens 100 is all about, or fancy adding another 25km and the joy of ascending Ditchling Beacon towards the end. If you want the full 125km (77 miles) including Beacon, then we'll meet at Hove Park cafe for a 09:00am departure. If you want the 100km (66 miles), then we'll pick you up at Ditchling Village Hall (Lewes Road) where there is a large, free, public car park at the back. We'll pick you up there at 09:40. Please make sure you bring at least one spare inner tube (two is better), money for drinks and snacks at our feed stops, plenty of water, and snacks you can eat whilst cycling. I recommend a carbohydrate drink for a long ride like this, and I cut energy bars up into bite-size chunks so that I can have a mouthful every quarter of an hour. We're goijng to be out riding all day, so you need tomanage your energy levels if you're to get to the end in comfort. Also wear and bring sun cream is the forecast is for sun, and bring a waterproof if there's any hint of rain (it will also keep you warm if you start to chill). Here's the route from when I rode it at a reasonable pace (not pushing the speed too much) recently: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/519798839
