Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

Hove Park cafe, Park View Road, Hove

15 mile circular route from Hove to Poynings (up over the South Downs via Devil's Dyke) and back. This is the first of series of training rides for women who have entered distance cycling events or challenges this year (London to Brighton, Cycletta, Rapha Womens 100, Land's End to John O'Groats). The series of 7 rides gradually increase ride distance, improving your strength and stamina so that you reach your challenge ride with a confident smile. You don't have to be aiming for a challenge ride to join us on this ride, but be warned that you might find yourself surrounded by conversation about goody bags, feed stations, and marshals! Road bikes recommended, though any roadworthy bike welcome. Please bring spare inner tube for your bike, layers of clothing to regulate your temperature, water and a snack. You might also want some money for a drink in Hove Park cafe or Poynings.
