Starting from - The starting point is a sliproad just off the A570 Rainford Bypass , close to a new Indian Restaurant called Holdi ( formerly Elephant ), ive dropped a pin on google maps where we start from and it comes up as WA117TA , close to 428 Ormskirk Road , Rainford , St Helens . WA11 7TA . Please do not block anyones drive way . WA11 7TA, WA11 7TA

We have flipped our usual route so head out through the south side of Ormskirk and into the south side of Southport , heading back more northerly weaving through Burscough .

we have changed this route from our usual , to confuse Steve Bentley !!! Note less climbing than Blackpool!!

food stop will be in Southport , normally the marine lake cafe but we may be too early as this is a new way to southport for us

all the usual stuff , helmet innertubes , basic tool kit , cash or card , suitable clothing for the weather forecast .

please make sure you can complete the distance at an avg pace of between 9/11mph
