The starting point is a sliproad just off the A570 Rainford Bypass , close to The Elephant Indian restaurant, ive dropped a pin on google maps where we start from and it comes up as WA117TA , close to 428 Ormskirk Road , Rainford , St Helens . We have started a few from here before . WA11 7TA

A nice trundell around some of the villages around the southport area , starting at the usual place just off the A570 Rainford Bypass we head out through Lathom , Burscough , and Scarisbrick before landing in Southport for a bite to eat . We then head south and then work our way round to Halsall ,and Aughton , clocking up around 38.5 miles in the process .
