The starting point is a sliproad just off the A570 Rainford Bypass , close to what was The Elephant Indian restaurant, ive dropped a pin on google maps where we start from and it comes up as WA117TA , close to 428 Ormskirk Road , Rainford , St Helens .

This is the ride I had to cancel because of the bad weather last week , it is a challenging ride with a few hills including Crank Hill , Shaley Brow to name 2 . I drove around the route and there are some nice quiet lanes as well as a couple of busier roads .23 miles in total so should only take about 2 to 3 hours
