Starting point
St Helens Road, which runs parallel to the Rainford Bypass, Windle Island, St Helens, WA11 7QN
Mainly offroad, this leisurely ride takes us from our start point to the cycle path of the Rainford Bypass, meandering to the outskirts of Rainford where we join the Rainford Linear Park, travelling on good paths alongside arable farmland, through woods and green spaces. We circumnavigate Rainford itself, and head back to our start-point, before which we take a well-earned break at Inglenook Farm where a warm welcome and delicious home-cooked food awaits!
