Leisure bike ride of about 20 miles. Good fitness is required. Mostly paved surfaces. Suitable for all skill levels.
Meet from 9:45 am for a 10:00 am departure from Brook Green W6 7BD, beside the tennis courts.
This weekend, we will ride to Truman's Social Club. The club is hosting the 13th Annual Walthamstow International Film Festival! We can see short films 5 minutes or under in the categories of Animation, Drama, Documentary, Experimental and Under 18s categories. Tickets are free but registration is appreciated. https://bit.ly/3xj7OCLPlease bring a bike lock. We will lock our bikes outside the club. We will have a refreshment break and spend approximately 60-120 minutes at the club. You can bring your own lunch or snack.
Our ride to Walthamstow will take us through Notting Hill, Camden Town, Highbury, Stoke Newington and Walthamstow. The first section is 13 miles, mainly flat. We expect to ride for 90-120 minutes. The return ride is to Haggerston Rail Station via Hackney, 5.4 miles, approximately 30-45 minutes.
We expect to arrive at Haggerston Overground Station at about 2:30-3 pm. Riders can take overground to Clapham Junction and train from Clapham Junction to Shepherds Bush or another station convenient for them. Please note that the rail journey to Clapham Junction costs £2.50. You can also cycle home from Walthamstow or Haggerston on your own.

Please bring a face covering just in case some venues ask you to wear one. Bring locks, lights and carry a spare inner tube or a puncture repair kit.
