Starting from Leverhulme Park we head towards Bury via the cycle path and make our way to Gigg via the Roch Valley Greenway. After crossing the River Roch we will make our way North through Bury eventually crossing the M66. From there we head to Queens park and a cafe stop after riding along the River Roch and through the park.

From Queens park we go South West to the Rochdale Canal and then eventually East to Heaton Park. We will get back to Bolton via Prestwich Clough and the the Outwood trail. The route may well be quite muddy in sections and whilst most of it is along cycle paths there are some unavoidable sections on busy roads. Please bring a helmet, spare inner tubes and money for the cafe stop.
