Pype Hayes CCC Ride to Aston Hall

Our ride starts at Paget Primary School on the local cycle paths across Tyburn Rd and through Sorrell Park towards the B'ham & Fazeley canal. We join the canal for a few miles at a leisurely pace and come off at Lichfield Rd exit and use the shared paths, bus lane and roads before reaching Aston Hall. We will stop for 30-45 mins. We then return back on the Tame Valley canal then pass through the parks (Brookvale Park, Witton Lakes) on the NCN 535 route on cycle paths and roads through Erdington to Paget.

The Stable Yard Café and grounds at Aston Hall will be open at 11am. We will stop at the cafe and give you time to have a drink. If you bring either a card or cash with you to purchase a drink or you can bring your own. There are toilets on site. Useful links below:

We advise you wear a helmet and that your bike is in good working order. Also if you can bring lights as we go through a couple of short tunnels on the canal.

If you can bring a drink with you on the ride to hydrate and a spare inner tube.
