PUTNEY TO SHERE VILLAGE IN SURREY HILLS.......

So here we go again ....... A very exciting ride with some beautiful country lanes and villages. A good mix of hills and flat roads. Quite a challenge but very doable. The whole route is on tarmac with NO off road cycling. Purpose of this ride is to have fun and enjoy a good day out with like minded people. No one will be left behind. I would consider this a leisure ride where we will try to maintain a gentle pace to accommodate different levels of fitness. Also Shere was voted the most beautiful village in Surrey - excited ? lets get on the saddle. Ride Plan : Putney to Cobham - 13.5miles - Break for 15 - 20 mins Cobham to Shere - 11 miles - Lunch (not provided - quite a few options in Shere to grap a bite. Shere to Guildford train station - 7 miles - from where we can catch a express train back to Clapham Junction. Cost £9.5 This Ride is not suitable for under 16's as most of the ride is on public roads. You are not required to wear a helmet - but do so if you have one. Spaces are limited (8 only) so pls if you do book - make sure you attend the event or cancel your spot. Also when booking pls take into account the time it will take us to have lunch and the train back from Guildford - Both of which I have no control over. Also this ride is weather dependant. If there is heavy rain or thunderstorms in the forecast on BBC pls consider this ride cancelled. I will up date this few days prior to the ride to keep everyone updated.
