Pugney's Country Park (Steady Cycle Ride)

The Wakefield District Cycling Forum would like to invite you to our "Steady" cycle ride from Pugneys Country Park. This event takes place the third Saturday in the month, and is approximately 16 miles and lasting around 2 to 3 hours. It's at a steady pace, but you will need to be fairly confident on your bike for this cycle ride. We use traffic free routes and some quiet roads and we will always go at a pace to suit the steadiest riders. The one thing you will find is that we are a warm and friendly group and we make all newcomers welcome. We also include a refreshment stop at Anglers Country Park where riders have the chance to meet fellow riders and get to know one another. This cycle ride is best suited to Hybrid or Mountain Bikes. Under 16s must be accompanied by an appropriate adult. A limited number of bikes are available to borrow.
