Pugneys Country Park Meet by the Café/Visitors Centre, 10.15am for 10.30am start.

The Wakefield District Cycling Forum would like to invite you to our "easy" cycle ride from Pugneys Country Park. Not cycled for a while, or a beginner and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our easy rides are ideal for families, beginners and those wanting to increase their confidence. We will always go at a pace to suit the steadiest riders and its not too demanding.. You will be in safe hands. Come and join us for an hour or two around Newmillerdam. Just the thing to get you out on your bike on a Sunday morning with good company. The one thing you will find is that we are a warm and friendly group and we make all newcomers welcome. We cover around 7 miles at an easy pace. This event takes place the first Sunday in the month. We use traffic free routes and some quiet roads. Most rides are best suited to Hybrid or Mountain Bikes. Road bikes are not recommended. Under 16s must be accompanied by an appropriate adult. A limited number of bikes are available to borrow. There is no charge but bikes must be booked in advance by email: [email protected] Meet by the Café/Visitors Centre, 10.15am for 10.30am start. For more info, please email: [email protected] Jeff Kitching. We look forward to meeting you. Wakefield District Cycle Forum
