Pugneys Country Park

Pugneys Country Park "Entry Level" Cycle Ride. We are the Wakefield District Cycle Forum. Our forum rides do not require advanced booking, simply turn up and go. This event takes place on the 4th Saturday of each the month. Meet outside Visitors Centre at 10:15 for a 10:30 start. Short rides (approximately 2-5 miles) ideal for absolute beginners and families. The route is around Pugneys lake and surrounding pathways, with no roads or hills to climb. Not suitable for road bikes. Please allow 1-2 hours. A limited number of bikes are available to borrow free of charge, but must be booked in advance by email at the address below.
