Pub Loop to Oakley

This is a fairly introductory ride, social, and it will not be a race!  The route will follow the cycle path to Beggarwood Park and follow the marked cycle routes through Kempshott towards Pack Lane, and the link with the new Oakley to Basingstoke off road path, opened in December 2011, then a little loop on road in Oakley and back the way we came to Portsmouth Arms. The route can be shortened or extended slightly depending on the pace and feedback of the group, but it is estimated at 10 miles. The cycle paths are quite gravelly in places and a little 'unmade' so more suited to mountain bikes and hybrids would be fine but not really road bikes though you can give it a go so long as you are aware!
