Prudhoe Puncture Repairs (with FREE bike maintenance lesson)

Join us for a leisurely, social ride along the River Tyne from Wylam to Prudhoe. This will be a very gentle ride, with a couple of short hills (which we can always walk up). The ride is almost entirely on multi-user paths, away from traffic. However, when we get to Prudhoe, we'll take a short ride along to CycleArt bike shop and cafe in Low Prudhoe (check out their Facebook page). We can pause for tea/coffee and goodies (bring some money if you'd like refreshments) while the team at CycleArt give us some tips on mending  a puncture, replacing an inner tube and also some general advice on what to look out for when choosing bikes and kit. Once we're full of cake and cycling wisdom we can wend our way back to Wylam, retracing our route along by the river. This ride may take a little longer than usual, due to our extended stop at CyleArt, so make sure you're not in a rush - make some time in your weekend for cycling and chat!
