Preston's Ice Cream Sunday

There's nothing like popping out for an ice cream on a summer's day, but this 21 mile route from Preston into the villages of the Fylde coast really pushes the envelope. You'll start at the UCLan Sports Arena and head out on an anticlockwise loop through the Fylde villages, with your compass set for the village of Elswick, the home of the famous Bonds Ice Cream Shop. Here you can sample a well-earned ice cream sundae, before looping back on quiet lanes through Roseacre and Lea Town back to Preston.
