Starting point

BN1 6LA

Preston Park cycle track, Brighton.

After doing a few laps of the cycle track to practice riding as a group, we'll head out north along the cycle paths beside the A23, taking us to Pyecombe via Patcham. We'll then head west to Upper Beeding via Poynings and Fulking, on the Edburton Road which runs parrallel to the line of hills of the South Downs ridge. Once in Upper Beeding, we'll go to Steyning then turn south on Coombes Lane to take us through Botolphs and Coombes to Shoreham airport. From the airport we head east along the coast, stopping off at Carats Cafe in Southwick before returning to the cycle track. Here's a map (but ignore total mileage as it includes lots of additional laps of the cycle track!): http://connect.garmin.com/activity/509412527
