Starting point

Greater Manchester
M35 0QD

From the GROWE bike hub based at Northern Lily Community Orchards we ride down Rochdale Canal towards the National Cycling Centre/Manchester Velodrome then continue up Ashton Canal, along the Yellow Brick Road (previously Stockport Branch Canal) towards the Fallowfield Loop. We leave at the FLoop's exit towards Alexandra Park in Whalley Range. Once inside, we can stop for a quick drink/treat from the omnipresent Mr Whippy ice-cream van then ride along on quiet city roads & cycle lanes towards Queens Park. After a short stretch of main road we reach Bogart Hole Clough through which we cross till we reach Cheetham Hill Road and our lunch stop at Manchester Jewish Museum within the vibrant Green Quarter of the city centre. After our much deserved break inside MJM Café we ride along main roads & cycle paths towards Ancoats Green and finally finishing our ride at Cutting Room Square, Ancoats.
