This 29 mile loop takes in the Eastern edge of Portsmouth and onto the Roman Palace at Fishbourne and back.  There's a great traffic free section alongside the Farlington Marshes wildlife reserve passing through the thriving village of Westbourne.  Riding along quiet roads in open country side there are some spectacular views of the South downs and farmland along with a brilliant place to stop and refuel called the Fishbourne Roman Palace cafe.  The route brings you back on a different and flat route back through hamlets of West Ashling and Woodmancote before re-joining the out-route at Westbourne.
