A beginners Breeze ride that introduces riders to some busier roads and slight hills plus technical corners. Mainly on cycle paths alongside the A23. If you've been on our seafront Breeze ride to Carat's cafe or Shoreham, you may be ready for a different route and cafe stop, plus slightly more undulating terrain (but5 less headwinds!). We set out from Preston Park on the cycle paths on the A23; the traffic can be busy, but we ride as a close group so that cars give us a wide berth. Once we leave the main road at Patcham we're on concrete bridleway then separated cycle path all the way to Wayfields Park Farm cafe in Pyecombe. The pace will be leisurely and your ride leader Zoe will make sure no-one gets left behind. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather (fingers and toes can get cold cycling, so wear gloves and cozy socks and shoes) and bring a spare inner tube for your bike (easier to change a tube than dix a puncture by the side of the road!). Also bring money for the cafe stop. Check your bike over before heading out: Are the tyres fully inflated? Do both brakes work? Is the chain clean and oiled? If you have any questions about the ride don't hesitate to contact ride leader Zoe on 0750 722 0750.
