Pootle to Prudhoe
Sunday 30th July - 12 miles
12:30pm from Hedley’s coffee shop at Newburn (near the Big Lamp brewery/Keelman pub)
Easygoing pace with a stop for a cuppa - expect to be out for about 2.5hrs in total.
(Option to do 18 miles by joining us from Clara Vale, which adds on 3 miles at the beginning and end of the ride - if you'd like the alternative start point postcode, send a message using the 'contact ride creator')

Ride description:
We’ll follow traffic-free tree-lined tracks along riverside and through woodland on cycle tracks and paths. We'll ride past the birthplace of George Stephenson..
A linear route that is mostly flat but does have a couple of very short hills.
Suitable for any type of bike but road bikes may find a very short section a little bit rough.
We'll stop for a cuppa at the half way point.

This is a particularly good ride to get a feel for what Breeze rides are about, if you've never joined us before.

Please make sure your bike is in working condition PRIOR to arriving for the ride and bring a spare inner tube to fit your tyres (check the valve type too!) and/or a puncture repair kit. The leaders can help you fix a puncture, but only if you have the right size inner tube for your bike or a puncture repair kit!

Helmets are not mandatory, but are strongly advised.

If the weather is poor, we will only contact you if we are cancelling the ride and will do so by putting a message in the ‘conversation’ tab in the ride. You should receive a notification by email if there is a message. If you have not heard from us we are still riding.

If you book on this ride and then find you have to cancel, please do so as soon as you can so that your place is available to someone else.

PHOTOGRAPHY - The organiser of the ride may take photographs or videos of the ride and riders for publicity purposes. By registering to participate in the ride, you agree that photographic images of you or containing you, may be used by the organiser, sponsors or promoters of the ride for publicity purposes
