Pontefract Carleton Community Centre (Steady Cycle Ride)

The Wakefield District Cycle Forum would like to invite you to our "steady" cycle ride from Pontefract (Carleton Community Centre) This event takes place every first Saturday in the month and is approximately 14 miles and lasting around 2 to 3 hours. We also include a refreshment stop where riders have the chance to meet fellow riders and get to know one another. It's at a steady pace, but you will need to be fairly confident on your bike for this cycle ride. The pace is set by our steadiest rider. Road bikes are also welcome on this ride as this cycle ride is all on-road, but we try to use quiet roads, where possible. The one thing you will find is that we are a warm and friendly group and we make all newcomers welcome. We meet outside Pontefract (Carleton Community Centre) at 10:15am for 10:30 start.
