Pontefract (Carleton Community Centre) Santa Cycle Ride (Please note this is not a challenging ride as described it is a steady ride)

The Wakefield District Cycling Forum would like to invite you to our "Steady" cycle ride from Pontefract (Carleton Community Centre), whare you will be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Dress up yourself and/or your bike for a chance to win prizes. All participants will receive a Free Tea/Coffee and a Mince Pie! The ride is approximatly 20 miles and lasting around 2 to 3 hours and includes a refreshment stop. The majority of this ride is on-road, but we try to use traffic free routes and some quiet roads, where possible. During Winter Months the rides are of varied lengths and difficulty, to suit the conditions and Riders. Most rides are best suited to Hybrid or Mountain Bikes, but Road Bikes can be used on this ride. A good level of fitness and some cycling experience is required. A limited number of bikes are available to borrow.
