Starting from - The start is off the main as you head into dunsville turn left before you reach Londis supermarket down a road called st Mary’s road leading you too the quarry park , car park free to park , no toilets at the start point . DN7 4DL

This Father and son cycle group ride is open for anyone to join

A scenic circular ride on the north east side of Doncaster taking beautiful scenic canal towpaths and locks along the new cut canal to the Calder and aire canal passing through the glorious pollington marina . We also pass through the splendid wild flower fields around the quarry park in dunsville . We pass thru some quaint villages of south bramwith , kirk bramwith, Sykehouse ,pollington and fishlake.

Heading over bridleways woodland trails on the beautiful Hatfield lane leading across into Barnby Dunn passing over a railway track . Heading then on splendid countryside roads towards the village of south bramwith passing a beautiful historic church with then change terrain going off road onto gravel surface along the beautiful new junction going all the way to the picturesque village of Sykehouse . Heading on the bridleway from topham farm across the fields to pollington crossing over the river went on the way . Once we reach pollington we have option of going on the towpath to pollington or going in by the road. We reach our cafe stop slightly north of pollington . Return journey takes us back to Sykehouse the same way . Crossing over the new junction canal going on country lanes to the beautiful village of fislake. We then reconnect on the new junction canal back to Kirk bramwith , we then almost follow the same route back passing back thru Barnby Dunn then back to dunsville quarry park .

Bridleways, country lanes, canal towpaths , small sections of slightly busy roads woodland trails too .

Stopping at the Nancys cafe at roughly the halfway point . Plenty of opportunities to stop to take pictures etc drink stops too.

Helmets are advisable for this ride . Tools and spares to repair a puncture issue. Cash and card for cafe stop possibly a few snacks too and definitely a drink also .
