Polesworth - Spring Breeze Ride

Fancy coming out for a ride in the Spring breeze? We will be taking an easy pace along the traffic free paths around Pooley Park, through the woodland and canal towpath, then heading out onto the the local country lanes. Towards the end of the ride we will take the spiral path up the old spoil heap and take a look at the new golden tower artwork which is the centre of the regeneration. Suited for mountain hybrid bikes. This former colliery site has allowed nature to regenerate the land with trees colonising the spoils and pools forming as a result of the land collapsing deep underground. This ride is suited for ladies who want to build up their confidence with riding skills, but all are welcome and if you want to suggest any other rides I will be happy to accommodate. I look forward to meeting you. Ensure your bike is good working order and bring helmet, a spare inner tube and pump, just in case.  Mountain or hybrid bike only. Route is roughly ten miles but pending on weather and experience of cyclist this may be extended on the day   Please only book on the ride if committed to attending as limited spaces!!   Don’t forget….
